Centuries of History and Art have left this city with a unique heritage in the world.
While Florence carefully maintains its Renaissance architecture and culture, it is not locked in time. The city pulses with life from scurrying students in the university quarter to the businessmen who whiz by on their Vespas.
The rich artistic heritage, the numerous cultural events and beauty of its surroundings make Florence one of the world’s most beautiful cities and a unique destination for visitors from all over the world. Walking around the city, you will find shops selling fashionable clothes, antiques and jewellery as well as typical Florentine handicrafts.
Centre of Italian Studies has two partner schools in Florence, with different features and different locations, to accomodate your interests and passions.
Linguaviva is situated only a few minutes from the heart of the city. This school has dedicated itself exclusively to the teaching of Italian to people from all over the world since 1976. It offers a wide variety of courses and levels and enables you to choose the alternative that suits you best.
One of the school’s main characteristics, which is much appreciated by students, is its friendly atmosphere that is established right from the first day with a “welcome party” for students, teachers and management staff. Students at Centro Fiorenza do not feel like “foreign tourists”, but rather part of a lively international family.
