At CIS, we are committed to providing the best possible service to all our students.

CIS offers a comprehensive Italian language program with an extensive timetable designed to allow students maximum flexibility.

Each term, students attend 1 class of 1 ½ hours per week (Standard) or 3 hours per week (Semi-Intensive) for 10 weeks.  In addition, after the third week of each term, students are free to attend as many additional standard classes as they wish at no extra cost.

By attending additional classes or enrolling in the semi-intensive course, students have the opportunity to practice more often and progress at a much quicker rate.

Our extensive timetable also means that students who are unable to attend their regular class have the option of attending any of the numerous other classes.

THE METHOD

The main objective is to enable our students to communicate effectively in Italian, so students are encouraged to take an active part in the lessons.

Conversation is the main focus of all CIS classes. Grammar, reading and writing skills are also taught thoroughly, but always with a view to applying them in practical, real-life situations. A variety of resources such as games, songs and dvds are also used to develop students' comprehension and conversation.

The Levels

At CIS there are 8 different levels:

Beginners (Levels 1-4)

Intermediate (Levels 5-7)
